Pathfinders Peer Group (8-12)

Program Overview

Peer Support for Children

Ages 8-12

For children who have lost a sibling or a parent, their grief can take many forms. They often feel alone or isolated. This program gives them a space to talk freely and openly about their feelings with others who are experiencing a similar loss, and guided by our empathetic and experienced staff and volunteers.

Our Pathfinders group allows children to be begin finding their way through the grief of loss with the support of their peers and trained facilitators. Pathfinders participate in age-appropriate activities, such as art, journaling, and even games.
