Little Lanterns Peer Group (5-7)

Program Overview

Support for Young Children

Ages 5-8

When a young child loses a sibling or parent, understanding and processing their grief often takes a lifetime. Our program gives them a safe space to begin this lifelong journey, supported by friends and guided by grief professionals.

Little Lanterns is a safe place for little ones to experience their grief, and begin the process of understanding what has happened. Little Lanterns participate in group exercises designed for their developing minds and emotions, including arts and crafts, play-based activities, and emotional expression.

Our peer groups, including our Parent/Adult group, all meet at the same time to allow families to attend together.
